The proportion of GCs staining for AdipoR1 in polycystic ovaries (mean [95% of confidence interval - CI]) was 0.93 (0.90, 0.96), compared with 0.93 (0.68, 1.1) in normal ovaries (Figure 1c); for AdipoR2, the proportions were 0.77 (0.71, 0.82) and 0.85 (0.68, 1), respectively in PCO and control ovaries (p > 0.05) (Figure 1e). Here, ADIPOR1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
