It is reported that PKC inhibition of the cells, which previously had been excited by thrombin, using Go6976 has led to inhibit the NO production, while PKC activators (like PMA) acted in the same way as thrombin.29 These finding show that NO production is probably passing through the PKC signaling pathway after thrombin action on PAR-2 which existed on the astrocytes, C6 glioma cells, and microglial cells.
