We demonstrate, by Western blot analysis, that miR-335 regulates the expression of at least five formin family members, three of which we validate as direct targets of miR-335: FMNL3, FMN2 and DAAM2. Furthermore, we confirm that inhibiting the expression of FMNL3, FMN2 and DAAM2 significantly reduces the motile and invasive capacity of neuroblastoma cells. The gene discussed is FMN2; the disease is neuroblastoma.
