Tanaka et al. analyzed the EGFR mutation analysis from 1,176 Japanese NSCLC patients and reported that the frequency of EGFR mutation was significantly higher in AC (OR 3.18, 95% CI 1.39–7.23) and in light-smokers (OR 3.84, 95% CI 1.92–7.65), but not associated with sex in multivariate analysis [83]. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
