Sulindac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which also inhibits Wnt signaling by binding the PDZ domain of disheveled (DVL1) [74,75] and like other NSAIDS, inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX2), a gene recently implicated in breast cancer metastasis to the brain [25,76]. The gene discussed is PTGS2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
