This Wnt/β-catenin classifier was trained to identify β-catenin transformed HMECs as opposed to normal and other oncogenic (E2F3, Myc, Ras, and Src) models [22] and subsequently applied to a meta-analysis of 11 studies and 1,878 expression profiles from primary breast cancers [25-32,37] including the Quebec and Georgia cohorts. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and breast carcinoma.
