Likewise, GATA3 can be overexpressed in pancreatic cell lines and primary pancreatic cancers [41], and in neuroblastoma cell lines [59], where it positively regulates cyclin D1, maintaining cells in an undifferentiated state [59], therefore suggesting an oncogenic potential for GATA3 in neuroblastoma.
