In a probabilistic reversal task, dopamine-agonist treated Parkinson patients show impaired performance compared to unmedicated patients [48] and increased dopamine activity at the D2R and D3R in the caudate nucleus, observed as an increase in methylphenidate induced [11C]-raclopride displacement in human volunteers, correlates negatively with reversal performance [49]. Here, DRD2 is linked to Parkinson disease.
