As the CCL5-CCR5 axis has been shown to promote the motility of human oral cancer cells in vitro [32] and to induce the expression of MMP9 [32], we also examined the effect of rCCL5 on MMP9 expression levels in HSC-3 and SAS as well as in dysplastic DOK cells.
