WNT7A and non-small cell lung carcinoma: To evaluate the possible involvement of G-protein/s in Wnt7a/Fzd9 signaling, we made use of constitutively active Gα subunits of G-proteins that are deficient in GTPase activity, and probed their effects on two well established Wnt7a/Fzd9-dependent read-outs viz., PPAR-dependent gene transcription and E-cadherin-dependent gene transcription in NSCLC cell lines [5], [20].
