Since activated DCs highly express TIM4 [7] which plays a critical role in T cell proliferation [4] and Th2 cell development [29], and DCs are mainly localized at the interface between epithelium and environment, and we believe that inhalant allergen Bla g 7 might initiate the sensitization process of allergy by activating DCs [30, 31].
