In the breast cancer samples miR-801 levels displayed correlations to age (P = 0.04), menopausal status (P = 0.01), tumor grading (P = 0.0005), progesterone receptor status (P = 0.02), the tumor marker p53 (P = 0.04) and the proliferation marker Ki-67 (P = 0.01), while miR-148b (P = 0.007) and miR-652 (P = 0.0005) correlated with the tumor marker p53. This evidence concerns the gene MKI67 and breast carcinoma.
