CTNNA2 and schizophrenia: CTNNA2 (↑1.5 fold) is a schizophrenia susceptibility gene (Chu and Liu, 2010), and functions in dendrite morphogenesis, cell adhesion, and regulation of synaptic structural plasticity and has recently been implicated in a pluripotent stem cell model of schizophrenia (Pedrosa et al., 2011).
