Therefore, we hypothesized that IFN might be induced during early infection, as indicated by the subsequent enhanced production of ISGs because increased expression of a variety of ISGs, such as OSAL, MX1, IFIT5, ISG12-2, RSAD2, IFI35, protein kinase R (PKR), and IFI27L2, was found in this study.
