This is consistent with previous findings of PODXL over-expression in a variety of other cancers, including leukemias [42], [43], pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [46], invasive breast carcinomas [50], prostate cancer [67], Wilms tumor [51], hepatocellular carcinoma [40], embryonal carcinoma (EC) [48], [49], small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) [44], undifferentiated thyroid carcinomas [52], colorectal cancers [45], renal cell carcinoma [41], endometrial adenocarcinoma [53], ovarian carcinomas [54], and GBM [39]. This evidence concerns the gene PODXL and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
