Studies were included if they met the following criteria: (1) contained a sample of children diagnosed with IgE-mediated food allergy; (2) tested for persistent or resolved food allergy by OFC and (3) investigated the relationship between either the change in SPT and sIgE over the course of follow-up, or SPT and sIgE measured at follow-up, and whether it could predict persistent or resolved food allergy. This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and food allergy.
