To understand any correlation between the vesicular localization of Htt-Grb2 interaction and consequent rise in the levels of autophagy markers (also previously reported in some HD models [32]), Grb2 was knocked down in both STHdhQ7/7 and STHdhQ111/111 cells using RNAi molecules, which showed downregulation of LC3 (Figure 5A, C, p<0.001 and p<0.05, n=3 respectively) and pERK1/2 (Figure 5A, B p<0.001 for both, n=3).
