There were no significant differences in any of the following parameters among children with PNS with different PPAR-γ (Pro12Ala) genotypes: sex, age, BMI, levels of albumin (ALB), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Scr), blood uric acid (UA), GFR, total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL-c), fibrinogen (Fbg), FBG, FCP, immunoglobulin G/M (IgG and IgM), complement C3 and C4, frequencies of CD3+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, NK cells, and B lymphocytes, HOMA-islet values, and 24h urine protein (24-UP). Here, PPARG is linked to paraneoplastic neurologic syndrome.
