Similar to normal hematopoietic progenitor cells we observed on average a 2 to 3.5-fold increase in CD11b expression in miR-150 expressing cells vs. control cells in 4 of 6 AML samples (one sample t-test, P=0.02, Figure 4A, B), but no significant change in CD34 expression. The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
