We speculate a possible involvement of MYC for the observed metastatic phenotype of high CCAT2 cells, in light of our previous findings in colon cancer [12] and of the documented presence of a large chromatin-loop bringing the SNP rs6983267 in the vicinity of the MYC oncogene in two IBC cell lines (SUM149 and SUM190). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is malignant colon neoplasm.
