Furthermore, we applied netSAM to identify breast cancer genes from two benchmark datasets (Wang et al. and Van De Vijver et al.)and obtained a cancer-associated gene signature consisting of 6 genes (TSPYL5, CD55, CCNE2, DCK, BBC3, and MUC1), which have been proven biologically reasonable via GO and pathway analyses. The gene discussed is CCNE2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
