TNF and hepatitis A virus infection: Among the differentially expressed multipath genes identified, the nfkb2 seems one of the most important because it is upstream of many of the other identified multipath genes (akt3a, pik3r5, chuk, nfkbiab, map2k1, mapk14a, rac1, map3k7, ikbkg, traf6) and its downstream activities include proinflammatory multipath tnfa or il1b. The nfkb2 was upregulated in survivors in 55% of the studied pathways (Toll-like, RIG-I-like, NOD-like, T cell and B cell signaling receptors, apoptosis, MAPK and chemokine signaling and hepatitis, influenza and measles infection pathways).
