Several sphingolipid and ceramide species were also found to be unique in the AQH of POAG donors, specifically SM(d16:1/17:0), SM(d16:1/18:1), (4E,8Z,d18:2) sphingosine, C16 sphinganine-1-phosphate, Cer(d18:0/24:1(15Z)), CerP(d18:1/22:0), CerP(d18:1/24:0), SM(d18:0/16:0), SM(d18:0/18:1(9Z)), and SM(d18:1/25:0) (Table 1).
