There were significantly elevated levels of anti-hsp60 AAbs in CAR (2.24 ±0.13 ng · mL−1) and AR sera (2.15 ± 0.10 ng · mL−1) compared to healthy subjects (1.56 ± 0.06 ng · mL−1; One-way ANOVA, p < 0.0001), suggesting these antibodies can be a biomarker for autoimmune retinopathy. Here, HSPD1 is linked to autoimmune retinopathy.
