KMT2A and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: The methylation patterns between BCP ALL subtypes differed substantially, with high methylation levels in samples harboring MLL rearrangements, which is opposite to a recent finding of predominant hypomethylation in adult ALL with MLL rearrangements [9], while the high hyperdiploid (HeH) samples were predominantly hypomethylated in our study (Table 2; Figure 2B-I), as has been previously described in pediatric BCP ALL for HeH [11].
