It had been proven by immunohistochemical analysis that NEDD9 was expressed in human bronchiolar epithelium [29], human lymphocytes in rheumatoid arthritis synovium [30], rat cerebral cortex and hippocampus neurons [31], human nevi and melanoma [10], murine embryonic encephalic and trunk neural tube [32], human late-onset Alzheimer’s disease [33], mouse and chick embryonic neural crest [34], human head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) [13]. This evidence concerns the gene NEDD9 and Alzheimer disease.
