BRAG2 is responsible for invasive phenotypes in various tumors, notably in breast tumors and lung adenocarcinoma where it binds to tyrosine kinases of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) family [12] and in melanoma where it is necessary for invasion and metastasis mediated by the Wnt/β-catenin pathway [8].
