Several studies have demonstrated a high frequency of IL-17+ cells in inflammation-related cancers including OAC [12], nonsmall cell lung carcinoma, where IL-17 has been implicated in metastasis of lung cancer by promoting lymphangiogenesis [13] and hepatocellular carcinoma where IL-17 is also believed to promote angiogenesis [14]. This evidence concerns the gene IL17A and hepatocellular carcinoma.
