CD4 and tuberculosis: Participants with an ML ratio less than the 5th percentile, between the 5th and 95th percentile, or greater than the 95th percentile were similar in age and the proportion with a previous history of tuberculosis, but males, individuals with lower CD4+ T-cell counts, and those with greater WHO staging values were overrepresented in the group with the highest ML ratio (>95th percentile) relative to the other 2 groups.
