Both univariate and multivariable analyses showed that patients with high expression of Ang-2 or both Ang-2 and VEGFR-3 was significantly associated with survival or risk of overall death compared with those with low expression of Ang-2 or other combinations of Ang-2 and VEGFR-3 expression, indicating that high expression of both Ang-2 and VEGFR-3 in tumor cells predicts poor clinical outcome in patients with OSCC. The gene discussed is FLT4; the disease is neoplasm.
