Aberrant expression of miR-146a which is downregulated by γ-synuclein (Table 1) is implicated in breast cancer [66], [67], Huntington disease [62], Alzheimer’s disease and aged related macular degeneration (AMD) which might be explained by targeting and downregulation of the complement factor H (CFH) [63], [64]. This evidence concerns the gene CFH and Huntington disease.
