After adjustment for age, gender, Hcy, hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus and ischemic heart disease, smoking (OR: 2.768, 95% CI: 1.247–6.145) and increased CRP (OR: 1.031, 95% CI: 1.004–1.060) were strong associated with poor outcome of BAD, while diabetes mellitus lost statistic significant association. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and metabolic syndrome.
