To examine any potential consequences of the increased IL-9 levels in atherosclerotic disorders, we therefore next examined the effects of IL-9 (100 ng/ml) on IL-17 release in PBMCs from patients with unstable angina (n = 5) and healthy controls (n = 5), with and without co-stimulation with PHA (20 μg/ml). This evidence concerns the gene IL9 and angina unstable.
