In this study we have shown that SIRT1, DBC1, P53, β-catenin, and cyclin D1 were expressed in 71%, 74%, 53%, 48%, and 73% of human soft-tissue sarcomas, respectively, and they significantly correlated with advanced clinicopathological parameters such as higher clinical stage, higher histological grade, poorly differentiation of sarcoma, increased mitotic counts, and distant metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene SIRT1 and soft tissue sarcoma.
