For bladder cancer, Takahiro et al. demonstrated that KRT7 mRNA was significantly down-regulated by transfection of miR-30-3p, miR-133a and miR-199a in the bladder cancer cell line (KK47), suggesting that these three miRNAs may have a tumor suppressive role via the mechanism underlying transcriptional repression of KRT7 [9]. Here, KRT7 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
