When all the eligible studies were pooled into the meta-analysis of XRCC1 −77 T>C polymorphism, significant increased risk of lung cancer was observed in any genetic model (dominant model: OR = 1.45, 95% CI = 1.27–1.66, Ph = 0.638, I2 = 0.0%, Fig. 2; recessive model: OR = 1.73, 95% CI = 1.14–2.62, Ph = 0.469, I2 = 0.0%, Fig. 3; additive model: OR = 1.91, 95% CI = 1.24–2.94, Ph = 0.494, I2 = 0.0%, Fig. 4). The gene discussed is XRCC1; the disease is lung carcinoma.
