The present study was undertaken to give our contribution to this topic via using special high-sensitive chips technology measuring VEGF, EGF, and MCP-1 as well as a spectrum of serum cytokines and chemokines-interleukins-1α and 1β (IL-1α, β), interleukin-2 (IL-2), interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), interleukin-10 (IL-10), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and interferon γ (IFN-γ) in patients with stable coronary artery disease preoperatively and for two days after CABG surgery. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
