A significantly increased survival, significantly decreased hematopoietic tissue damage, increased expression of cell cycle-related cyclin-D1, cyclin-E, cyclin-DK4 and cyclin-DK2 genes and decreased primary DNA damage in blood leukocytes were observed in mice exposed to AD + CD as compared with mice exposed to CD alone [20–22].
