Hsu et al.[31] described the presence of CENP-H antibodies in patients with Sjögren's syndrome and Ford et al.[32] described the presence of CENP-D IgM autoantibodies in a patient prior to the development of CREST (calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly, telangiectasias) symptoms. This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and Sjogren syndrome.
