Serial sections subject to immunohistochemistry using WISP1 antibodies showed that WISP1 was also expressed (compared to IgG controls) at the interface between the alveolar bone and the invading PC3-Luc tumor (Figure 5B, arrow) however it was notably located in a position near but not coincident with the TRAP positive osteoclasts (compare middle and right panels, Figure 5B).
