That study demonstrated the reciprocal expression of KLF6 and PTTG1 both in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patient samples and in the HepG2 cell line, suggesting that the loss of KLF6 and the subsequent up-regulation of PTTG1 could contribute to tumorigenesis in HCC. This evidence concerns the gene KLF6 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
