For antemortem diagnosis of CJD, different liquor proteins, such as 14-3-3, Tau, phospho-Tau, amyloid-β 1–42 and some others (for review, see [12]), have been employed in tests that reach considerably high sensitivity and are often used for CJD diagnostics complementary to neurological signs. This evidence concerns the gene YWHAQ and Creutzfeldt Jacob disease.
