To investigate whether there is a difference in the parasite localization within the lymph nodes of PND and WN mice, we infected mice with fluorescent-labeled L. donovani and examined its localization relative to FRCs (ER-TR7), macrophages (MOMA-2), DCs (CD11c), and Langerhans cells (CD205 and CD207) at 3 days post-infection and CD169+ cells at 2 hours post-infection. This evidence concerns the gene SIGLEC1 and infection.
