NFKB1 and glioma: Previous findings, as well as our results reported here, suggest that some basal expression level of NF-κB is necessary to maintain the proliferative phenotype of glioma cells; it is possible that the phenotypic fate of glioma cells is dictated by the ratio of proliferative vs migratory transcription factor functions, such as c-Myc and NF-κB.
