Elevated expression levels of a number of MMPs (MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-3, MMP-7, MMP-9, MMP-10, MMP-11, MMP-12, MMP-13, MT1-MMP and MMP-15) have been reported in invasive cervical carcinomas compared with normal tissues [15]–[17]. Here, MMP14 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
