NR4A2 and skin cancer: The overall mechanism of DIM-D suggested in this manuscript is the fact that DIM-D has potential to induce inflammation, oxidative stress and apoptosis which is evident in the induction of NFκB, CHOP and cleaved caspase 3, in the skin cancer cells to result in death of the cancer cells through the induction and mediation by the orphan nuclear receptor, Nurr1.
