Inconsistently with findings published by Fang’s group [14], CD133+ D10 cells had not upregulated the expression of ABCG2 (ATP-binding cassette, sub-family G (WHITE), member 2A), which was identified to be overexpressed in primary or metastatic melanoma compared to benign melanocytic nevi [18]. This evidence concerns the gene ABCG2 and metastatic melanoma.
