IGF2 and neoplasm: For example, the LOI of IGF2 was identified in 8 out of 14 different tumor cell lines, possibly as the result of inactivation or mutation of CTCF complex (13), suggesting that the LOI of IGF2 is associated with the loss of activity of CTCF due to its inactivation or mutation in tumor cells (known as LOI of IGF2), and that an abnormal tumor epigenotype could be corrected by in vitro reprogramming.
