To confirm that p16-enhanced migration occurs in additional mammalian cells, including human cells, the human hepatoblastoma cell line HepG2 and the BL185 murine HCC cell line that retain functional Ink4a/Arf, were infected with a retroviral vector encoding mouse p16, or an empty vector control, and ectopic p16 expression confirmed by immunoblot (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and hepatoblastoma.
