Our results are similar to those reported for HSP-72 in which they showed that all the interventions that lead to the induction of HSP-72 expression; including exercise are associated with impairment of JNK phosphorylation with concomitant improvement of clinical outcomes in humans and animal models of obesity, insulin resistance and T2D [52], [58], [59], [60], [61]. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
