Although we were not able to characterize the activation status of Cdc25C by immunoblotting for p-Cdc25C (Thr48) in HNSCC cell lines TR146, SCC-58, OSCC-3 and UMSCC-17B, the level of p-Cdc2 (Thr14/Tyr15) hyperphosphorylation strongly correlated with the level of S100A8/A9 expression in these cells. This evidence concerns the gene CDK1 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
